Applies advanced project management techniques to ensure quality, on-time delivery, cost compliance, prioritizing safety and aligning actions with business strategic objectives. ### **Main Responsibilities** * Plan, execute, and supervise projects aimed at improving and optimizing industrial facilities, ensuring efficient use of resources and compliance with quality, safety, health, environmental policies and corporate objectives. * Coordinate multifunctional projects based on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as safety, health, environment, deadlines, costs, and equipment and facility performance. * Actively collaborate in the development and preparation of projects together with areas such as Operations, Maintenance, Finance, Procurement, and Marketing, ensuring alignment with business needs. * Prepare and review technical documentation to define project scope, eliminating uncertainties during both bidding and execution phases. * Manage and validate projects from external vendors according to internal procedures and current regulations. * Contribute to the creation, updating, and validation of technical specifications and standard documentation applied to engineering projects. * Develop budgets, define timelines, and estimate required resources for approval and efficient execution of investment plans. * Provide technical support to operational areas, assisting in resolving technical issues and implementing new field projects. * Conduct engineering studies that support continuous improvement and the commissioning of new facilities. * Develop basic and detailed engineering for assigned projects. * Evaluate new initiatives and improvements aimed at increasing equipment availability and reducing operating costs. * Plan and monitor tasks during scheduled plant shutdowns, optimizing resources and time for facility and equipment upgrades. * Supervise and monitor service contracts within their specialty, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. * Manage human resources, promoting their development and training, and ensuring utilization and satisfaction of direct or external personnel. * Prepare, review, and approve structural calculations for both steel and reinforced concrete structures, along with corresponding calculation reports for engineering projects. * Initiate and follow up material purchase orders to ensure project continuity. * Carry out measurement and on-site validation of labor, materials, and equipment performance. ### **Candidate Profile** **Education:** University degree in Engineering, preferably in Electromechanical, Electrical, or Mechanical disciplines. **Experience and Knowledge:** * Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in coordination of industrial electromechanical projects. * Experience managing contractors across various specialties. * In-depth knowledge of local electrical and mechanical regulations. * Prior experience in food industry (desirable). * Specialization in project management. * Proficiency in tools such as MS Project and AutoCAD. * Knowledge of SAP. **Languages:** * Advanced English (spoken and written). **Availability:** * To travel occasionally, according to project requirements. * Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 to 17:30 hrs \- Friday 8:00 to 14:00 hrs (On-site mode 4 days per week at Balcarce plant \- one day home office) McCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer that warmly welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
