We are currently seeking Backend Engineers to join our technology team. ### **What will be the main challenges of this role?** * Develop and maintain critical backend applications: billing validations, invoice issuance, return management, and tax rules. * Own the solutions you build—from design and implementation through production deployment and subsequent monitoring. * Deeply understand the business domain—billing, credit notes, and accounting logic—to translate it into robust technical solutions. * Manage and align expectations with internal stakeholders such as Treasury, Billing, and Tax, communicating progress and technical constraints clearly. * Monitor application health using tools like New Relic and Grafana to ensure availability and performance. * Collaborate closely with Product teams to integrate business requirements into robust technical solutions. * Participate in architectural decisions and code reviews, contributing to the team’s technical growth. * Continuously explore new tools that add value to the business or improve team productivity. ### **What are we looking for?** * +3 years of backend development experience. * Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework. * Strong SQL database skills. * Effective communication skills to interact with non-technical stakeholders and manage expectations. * Strong sense of ownership and accountability for production systems. * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to complex business domains. * Collaborative mindset and problem-solving orientation focused on delivering real impact. ### **Nice to have:** * Experience with NoSQL databases. * Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic or Grafana. * Experience or foundational knowledge in billing, accounting, or finance domains. * Basic frontend knowledge.
