In this role, you'll partner with trading desks and finance teams to produce timely P\&L reporting, strengthen controls, and support new initiatives. As a Product Control Analyst in the Product Control team, you will support financial controllers and trading desks to ensure P\&L reporting, balance sheet oversight, and month\-end close procedures are completed accurately and on time. You will produce and analyze P\&L information, provide reporting to key stakeholders, and partner with cross\-functional teams to resolve control and reporting issues. You will also support control enhancements and business initiatives through analysis and project support. Job Responsibilities * Assist with P\&L reporting and month\-end close processes * Produce, consolidate, and analyze daily, monthly, and yearly P\&L information * Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management * Partner with the business to implement robust controls and support new initiatives * Coordinate across front and back office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues accurately and on time * Support investigations of reporting discrepancies and drive issues to resolution through appropriate follow\-up and escalation * Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control, including process improvement efforts * Handle ad hoc requests and time\-sensitive analysis as needed Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field * Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, product control, financial control, or a related area * Experience with P\&L reporting and month\-end close processes * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with high attention to detail * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast\-paced environment * Demonstrated interest in challenging current processes and driving improvements Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills * Strong accounting background * Experience supporting trading desks or markets\-related businesses * Familiarity with financial products and market drivers of P\&L * Experience with financial reporting tools or automation approaches * Experience working in a global or cross\-functional environment **ABOUT US** J.P.
