Job Summary: We are seeking a JUNIOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT specialist to provide technical and operational assistance in classrooms, meeting rooms, and online environments, managing audiovisual equipment and supporting events. Staff assigned to DOT on a given day do not attend Pilar the following day. Work Location: Derqui, Pilar / Nuñez Attractive benefits are offered, as detailed at the end of this posting. · REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES In Classrooms  - Powering on/off podium PCs and mini-PCs. - Powering on/off imaging devices (projectors, TV monitors/reference displays, accessories). - Powering on, verifying, and launching videoconferencing systems (when requested for hybrid classes or online guests); powering off after the event concludes. - Verifying audiovisual functionality and presence of required accessories to ensure proper class delivery. - Installing microphones (lapel, headset, or handheld) upon request; removing them after the event or upon completion of the request. - Assisting professors or guests in connecting their laptops to the podium before class begins. - Providing on-site, on-demand assistance throughout the entire event.  In Team/Meeting Rooms  - Verifying presence of remote controls for LED TVs; updating LED TV operating systems. - Installing and logging in requested laptops for team work; uploading files for team assignments; verifying correct operation and connectivity with room LED TVs. Upon event conclusion, collecting laptops and storing them in the warehouse. - Installing LED TVs, webcams, and accessories in meeting rooms; removing and storing equipment in the warehouse upon event conclusion or completion of the request. - Providing on-site, on-demand assistance throughout the entire event.  Online  - Technical coordination of virtual classes (Zoom): - Opening and closing Zoom sessions for online classes. - Configuring and setting up static and dynamic equipment. - Managing the waiting room and participant entry. - Continuously moderating connected students (muting open microphones, hiding inappropriate cameras). - Recording classes to the cloud. - Managing breakout rooms and providing real-time support during their use. - Playing the institutional welcome video during the first class of each program; playing background music during breaks. - Providing real-time technical assistance to instructors, secretaries, and participants (audio, video, connectivity, etc.). - Simultaneously moderating multiple sessions. - Flexible scheduling to cover classes across various time slots or special events.  Other Duties  - Powering on/off lights in the Master Snack area; verifying their proper operation. - Installing microphones and/or laptops in the Master Snack area upon demand. - In auditoriums, depending on the event: powering on, operating audio consoles, installing microphones, operating video equipment; assisting and advising clients throughout the event; powering off equipment and removing microphones afterward. - Organizing and maintaining warehouse order. - Repairing cables for both power strips and audio equipment. - Assisting the Operations team with various tasks.  DOT Tasks: - Powering on/off podium PCs. - Powering on/off imaging devices (projectors, TV monitors/reference displays, accessories). - Verifying audiovisual functionality and presence of required accessories to ensure proper class delivery. - Assisting professors or guests in connecting their laptops to the podium before class begins. - Providing on-site, on-demand assistance throughout the entire event.
