We are looking for a Java Backend Junior/Senior to join our client’s dynamic team and contribute to the development of challenging, high-impact projects.⁣ Location: Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Work Mode: Hybrid in Parque Patricios, CABA.⁣ (3 days in office, 2 days remote) **Responsibilities and Duties** Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications, ensuring clean and maintainable code. * Implement efficient solutions using Java (v8 to 21\) and Node.js (Express). * Contribute to the Java version migration project up to version 21\. * Manage and maintain relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL and MongoDB. * Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality. * Participate in code reviews and contribute continuous improvements to development processes. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. * Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. * Apply agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) throughout the development lifecycle. * Integrate DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). * Use monitoring tools to ensure application stability and performance. * Stay updated on the latest technology trends and propose new tools and approaches to improve team productivity. **Requirements and Qualifications** Requirements: * More than 4 years of backend development experience. * Advanced knowledge of Java (versions 8 through 21\). * Experience with Node.js (Express) and microservices. * Familiarity with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB. * Experience in testing and adherence to good development practices. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. * Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Attention to detail and focus on code quality. *Bonus points if you have:* * Experience in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban). * Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD. * Familiarity with project management and version control tools such as Git. * Experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS. **Additional Information** *Join Stefanini and you’ll find:* A collaborative and dynamic work environment.⁣ Opportunities for professional growth and leadership.⁣ The chance to implement innovative solutions that positively impact customer service quality and operational efficiency.⁣ Are you looking for a place where your ideas shine?
