Job Summary: We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to build solutions for enterprise clients, combining engineering, product, and direct client interaction to transform needs into implementations. Solving complex problems and developing scalable solutions We are looking for a **Forward Deployed Engineer** to build solutions alongside some of the most talented teams in LATAM. Selenios is an AI-native recruiting platform that processes thousands of candidates, automates screenings and interviews via AI agents, and already works with companies such as **Kavak, Swiss Medical, Crediclub, Chacomer, Artear, and Cinemark**. In this role, you will combine engineering, product, and direct client engagement. You will understand how each organization operates, translate their needs into technical solutions, and take ownership of delivering those solutions from the first conversation through to production deployment. You will work across our entire platform — backend, frontend, infrastructure, and integrations — side-by-side with the CTO, with direct influence on technical and product decisions. **What You’ll Do** * Work directly with enterprise clients to understand their recruiting processes and operational needs. * Design and implement integrations with ATS, HRIS, and other platforms via APIs, webhooks, and data flows. * Build end-to-end features on our Node.js/TypeScript backend, MongoDB, and AWS. * Develop the necessary interfaces so each solution is easy to use and scalable. * Integrate AI models such as Claude and OpenAI, as well as voice agents, into productive workflows. * Lead each implementation technically — from discovery and design through to launch and production monitoring. * Solve complex problems that may involve product, data, infrastructure, or third-party systems. * Turn clients’ specific needs into reusable capabilities for the entire platform. * Communicate decisions, progress, and risks clearly to both technical and business stakeholders. * Use AI as a force multiplier to develop, research, and deliver solutions faster. **We’re Looking For Someone Who** * Has solid experience building web products with Node.js and TypeScript. * Can work full-stack and move comfortably between backend, frontend, and infrastructure. * Has experience integrating external APIs, webhooks, and enterprise systems. * Is comfortable working with MongoDB and AWS-based services. * Has excellent communication skills, active listening ability, and strong business problem understanding. * Can speak with a client, design a solution, and then build it. * Has a strong ownership mindset: identifies what’s needed and drives it to completion. * Can operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing, and rapidly iterative environments. * Uses AI tools thoughtfully to amplify impact. * Enjoys seeing their work quickly reach production and solve real problems. **Bonus Points If You:** * Have previously worked with enterprise clients. * Have experience in technical implementations, consulting, solutions engineering, or similar roles. * Have integrated ATS, HRIS, CRMs, or other enterprise platforms. * Have worked with AI products, agents, language models, or voice solutions. * Know how to transform an initially client-specific solution into a scalable product feature. * Requirements: Solid experience building production-grade products with Node.js and TypeScript Ability to work full-stack and solve end-to-end problems Experience designing and implementing integrations via APIs, webhooks, and data flows Ability to diagnose issues involving application logic, data, infrastructure, and external systems Ownership mindset: taking responsibility from discovery through production deployment and ongoing monitoring Comfort operating in ambiguous, dynamic, and rapidly iterative contexts Regular use of AI tools to research, develop, and accelerate work Experience with SSO, OAuth, enterprise APIs, and data synchronization.
