Our team is constantly evolving, and today we need to add a **Machine Learning Engineer** to keep growing. **What will be your main responsibilities?** * Design, develop, and industrialize ML and GenAI solutions as robust, scalable, and maintainable data products. * Collaborate with Data Scientists, backend engineers, DevOps, and DevSecOps, facilitating model integration and reducing technical debt for data science teams through tools and automations. * Design, implement, and maintain internal ML/AI platforms such as SageMaker, MLflow, Feature Store, and LLM Gateways, adapting and optimizing them according to product needs. * Participate in platform architecture projects, such as building a Feature Store and a Customer Data Platform (CDP), defining reusable standards and patterns. * Design and deploy platform catalogs (e.g., generate a vector database in OpenSearch or Pinecone ready to use from a YAML file). * Apply AI tools and technologies in daily workflows to accelerate development and enhance delivered products. * Develop Python components following software engineering best practices (testing, modularity, CI/CD, documentation). * Participate in technical architecture decisions considering impact, implementation effort, and business value. * Raise the technical standard for ML/GenAI solution development across the company by sharing best practices and tools with other squads. **What do we expect from you?** * Solid experience in Python development applied to data solutions, following software engineering principles (modularization, testing, CI/CD). * Practical knowledge of MLOps: MLflow, SageMaker, Feature Store, model deployment, version control, CI/CD pipelines. * Experience collaborating with Data Scientists and technical roles (backend, infrastructure, DevOps). * Ability to develop and maintain solutions in Docker and Kubernetes environments. * Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and monitoring with Datadog or other observability tools. * Familiarity with integrating ML/GenAI solutions into production environments (APIs, backend, automations). * Strong understanding of technical and organizational requirements to scale from prototype to production solution. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. **Desirable qualifications:** * Knowledge of CDPs (Customer Data Platforms) and data-product-oriented architectures. * Experience designing or using Feature Stores (such as SageMaker Feature Store) and integrating them into training/inference flows. * Knowledge of AWS data/AI architectures (SageMaker, Bedrock, S3, Lambda, Glue, EventBridge). * Familiarity with DataMesh architectures and tools like Snowflake. * Experience participating in GenAI solutions (embeddings, RAG, advanced prompting). * Background as a Data Engineer or experience working with large-scale data processing is a plus. * Participation in initiatives improving technical standards within teams or companies. **What do we offer?** * 10 business days of vacation \+ 5 MODO days. * Private health insurance for you and your family. * Reimbursement via MODO app for lunches and commuting. * Gympass membership and discounts at Sport Club for physical activity. * Extended leaves (for marriage, maternity, paternity, and others). * Training platform and university discounts to improve and expand your knowledge. * Language platform (English or Portuguese). * Internet expense reimbursement. * Birthday off and half-day for children's birthdays. * Team building activities. * Benefits Club. * Opportunity to grow in a flexible, dynamic, and rapidly expanding environment.
