Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain COBOL-based applications in alignment with business requirements and industry best practices. Collaborate with business analysts and fellow developers to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions. Conduct detailed code reviews and debugging to ensure high standards of quality and reliability. Identify and resolve issues within existing COBOL programs to improve performance and user experience. Document new and updated processes, workflows, and system changes clearly and accurately. Participate in team meetings, providing technical insights and project updates. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within development processes and standards. Required Skills and Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience in COBOL development within enterprise environments. Strong expertise in structured COBOL programming and debugging techniques.
