Job Summary: We are seeking an Application Security (AppSec) Consultant to advise, support, and ensure the proper implementation of security practices throughout the development lifecycle. Collaboration with development and cybersecurity teams **MaxIT Consulting \- Max Corporate Group \| IT Recruitment** ========================================================== At **MaxIT Consulting \- Max Corporate Group**, we are supporting a major **U.S.-based banking industry partner** in recruiting a/an: **Application Security (AppSec) Consultant** ------------------------------------------------ **Location:** Microcentro, CABA **Work Mode:** Hybrid (4 days onsite \+ 1 day remote) **Start Date:** Immediate **Employment Type:** Direct employment (RRDD) **About the Role** ---------------- We seek a candidate with at least **2 years of experience in application security**, strongly oriented toward **initiative management and tracking, and collaborative work with development teams**. The position will play a key advisory, supportive, and assurance role in ensuring the correct implementation of security practices within the development lifecycle. **Main Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Advise development teams on **application security** * Conduct **vulnerability assessments** and propose remediation plans * Support initiatives within **development tracks**, ensuring compliance with security standards * Participate in cybersecurity sessions (CoE, Blue Team, Architecture, etc.) * Monitor progress of security activities across assigned teams * Propose **mitigation alternatives** for identified vulnerabilities * Ensure compliance with **internal and external regulations** * Generate **management reports**, newsletters, and deliverables for committees * Track **vulnerability remediation** ### **Threat Modeling** * Execute **threat modeling** processes * Identify critical assets, threats, and vulnerabilities * Define **security requirements** and mitigation strategies * Advise teams on understanding and addressing risks * Monitor implementation of security controls * Review **architecture diagrams** * Generate reports and metrics for management and the security committee **Requirements** -------------- * Minimum **2 years of experience in application security (AppSec)** * Experience in **vulnerability management** * Knowledge of **Threat Modeling** * Experience working with **development teams** * Ability to **manage, track, and coordinate** * Experience preparing **reports and documentation** * Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally **Plus** -------- * Experience in **banking or financial environments** * Knowledge of **application architecture** * Experience interacting with **cybersecurity and architecture teams** **Application** --------------- If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply **through this same channel**, submitting: * Updated CV * Desired gross salary * Availability to start
