




**Position:** Technical Advisor **Unit:** Sub-Directorate of Technical Regulations and Vehicle Control / Directorate of Automotive Technical Inspection **Workplace:** Maipú 88 (CABA) \+ field inspections **Working Hours:** 09:00 to 17:00 **Work Mode:** On-site **Remuneration:** To be determined **Position Mission** Provide technical assistance to the Sub-Directorate of Technical Regulations and Vehicle Control and to the Directorate of Automotive Technical Inspection to support the design, control, and improvement of processes related to the authorization and safety of vehicles intended for automotive passenger transport. **Requirements** **Academic Qualifications** Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. English and/or Portuguese (non-mandatory). Valid driver’s license. **Mandatory Requirements** * Experience in the automotive industry, particularly in staged vehicle assembly and vehicle technical inspection. * Knowledge of current traffic and road safety legislation, as well as regulations applicable to passenger and cargo transport within the national jurisdiction. **Functions of the SNTYCV** * Participate in the design and development of processes related to the authorization and control of vehicles intended for automotive passenger transport. * Collect and systematize technical information regarding design, authorization, safety testing (active and passive), and promote its transfer to technical agencies. * Manage the registration of coachbuilding companies in the National Registry of Coachbuilders and Workshops. * Approve designs of structural modules, bodywork blueprints, and chassis modifications within the framework of the National Registry of Coachbuilders and Workshops. **Job Responsibilities** * Evaluate the technical suitability of bodywork projects according to current regulations for national-jurisdiction passenger transport. * Conduct and analyze anchorage and seat structure tests, seat belt tests, structural module tests, frontal impact tests, stability tests, and material flammability tests. * Carry out audits at coachbuilding manufacturing companies and workshops engaged in bodywork and chassis repair or modification. * Participate in regulatory projects, develop procedural manuals, and provide technical advisory services to various departments of the CNRT and other agencies. * Conduct audits at Mandatory Technical Inspection Workshops.
