Main objective: Ensure the optimal operation of machinery and equipment in the paper production plant by carrying out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, minimizing unplanned downtime and ensuring a safe working environment. **Key Responsibilities and Tasks** Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Carry out scheduled tasks (inspections, lubrication, adjustments, replacement of worn components) to prevent failures and extend the lifespan of assets. Corrective Maintenance: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment (units, motors, belts, pneumatic and electrical systems) promptly to restore production. Mechanical tasks such as bearing replacements. Inspection and Testing: Inspect, operate, and test equipment (paper production lines, rewinding machines, cutters, etc.) to diagnose issues and identify potential risks. Record Keeping and Reporting: Document all maintenance performed, spare parts used, and faults identified for proper tracking and follow-up. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all industrial safety and environmental regulations of the plant, actively contributing to the creation of a safe working environment. Collaboration: Support other team members and departments (production, operations) to resolve cross-functional issues and optimize operational efficiency. **Requirements:** Education: Degree in Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanics, or a related field. Professional Experience: Minimum of 2\-5 years of experience in similar roles within industrial environments, preferably in the paper, pulp, or continuous process industries. Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mechanics, electricity, electronics, and pneumatics. Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
