Position Summary: We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support in the design and documentation of solutions for wastewater treatment and potable water plants. Customer technical inquiry handling and resolution Important: A construction company headquartered at the Florencio Varela Industrial Park is seeking a graduate or advanced student in Environmental Engineering. Position Objective: Provide comprehensive technical support to the engineering and commercial departments through analysis, design, and documentation of solutions for domestic and industrial wastewater treatment plants, potable water plants, and associated equipment. Address and resolve technical inquiries from both prospective and existing customers, actively collaborating across pre-sales, sales, and after-sales stages, with emphasis on response quality and technical feasibility of solutions. Main Responsibilities: Analyze tender and technical documentation (specifications, drawings, technical requirements) and identify key requirements. Prepare technical memoranda, data sheets, specifications, reports, preliminary drawings, and other documentation required for tenders and projects. Support the commercial department in developing technical-economic proposals, evaluating feasibility, regulatory requirements, and possible solutions. Respond to technical inquiries received from the commercial department, prospective customers, and current customers, providing clear, well-founded, and timely responses. Prepare technical reports and response notes to inquiries during tendering or contracting processes. Provide technical support during after-sales processes or contracted services, ensuring consistency of implemented solutions. Participate in conceptual and detailed design of offered solutions, collaborating with designers and specialized engineers. Collaborate on standardization of solutions, equipment selection, and continuous improvement of internal technical department processes. Maintain up-to-date relevant technical information (regulations, technical datasheets, catalogs, standard specifications, etc.). Research and evaluate new technologies or applicable solutions within the industry. Experience: Previous experience (1–3 years) in technical roles within companies operating in water treatment, sanitation, hydraulic works, or related fields. Desirable experience in customer interaction and participation in tendering or commercial processes. Technical Knowledge: General knowledge of wastewater and potable water treatment technologies (biological, physicochemical, filtration, disinfection, etc.). Ability to read and interpret process, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical drawings. Proficiency in software: AutoCAD, advanced Excel, technical calculation tools (hydraulic and/or mechanical). Knowledge of local regulations (e.g., ADA Resolution, IRAM standards, provincial and municipal regulations applicable to the sector). Proactive attitude, customer orientation, and results-driven mindset. Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in 3D design or process simulation software. Intermediate/Advanced English. Experience preparing technical or commercial presentations.
