




Position Summary: Manages and supervises preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of fleets and heavy machinery, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with safety regulations. Key Highlights: 1. Manages comprehensive maintenance of fleets and heavy machinery. 2. Administers budget and inventory, optimizing costs. 3. Leads teams and supervises daily mechanical task execution. Must plan, manage, and supervise (preventive, predictive, and corrective) maintenance of the company's entire vehicle fleet, heavy machinery, and tools. Ensure equipment remains operational to meet construction project schedules on time and in full compliance with safety regulations. Design the annual mechanical maintenance plan and manage the department's budget. Supervise daily mechanical task execution. Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and lubricants, as well as fuel consumption. Administer the assigned mechanical department budget, optimizing costs. Track management indicators (KPIs) enabling area traceability. Prepare management reports and summaries. Requirements: Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related fields. Proven solid experience in similar roles managing large fleets, preferably within construction, mining, or earthmoving companies. Knowledge / Proficiency in maintenance management systems. Team leadership, conflict resolution, decision-making under pressure, and strong organizational skills. Performance Indicators (KPIs) Fleet Availability: Percentage of machinery and vehicles ready for operation. Mean Time Between Failures: Equipment reliability. Mean Time To Repair: Mechanical team efficiency and responsiveness.
