




JOB DESCRIPTION The Market Segment Manager of Energy is responsible for the development strategy of the energy market in Latin America, from knowledge transfer, market understanding, leadership and communication strategy, effectively aligning resources with opportunities to drive sales growth, contribution margins and profitability. This professional will lead project development and implement strategic plans, with a high level of understanding on how to work with industry knowledge and needs, leading multifunctional teams and managing a solid portfolio of solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES **Main activities and responsibilities:** * Develop and validate value propositions/case studies to provide strong leadership in the **Energy** segment and focused subsegments. * Establish connections with other leaders and functions within the Protective \& Marine division and other Sherwin divisions to resolve issues related to products, costs and value creation. * Interact with Technical, Sales, Product Development, Project Development and Marketing departments. * Jointly develop and subsequently execute short- and long-term segment strategic plans supporting the business strategy, including performance analysis, critical success factors and budgeting. * Generate strategies and solution portfolios that support product life cycle and necessary innovation to achieve segment leadership. * Maintain a clear understanding and consistent vision of the segment and related subsegment trends, including close monitoring of competitors' products, strategies, strengths and weaknesses. * Provide competitive analysis highlighting our specific advantages and how to accelerate growth in key subsegments. * Build brand recognition and consideration of Sherwin\-Williams solutions through innovative and effective channels to maximize market segment impact. * Develop high-level relationships with key individuals and groups operating in the segment to build effective links with key members of the company's interdisciplinary team, including MarCom, Sales, R\+D, Product Management, Legal and Finance. * Translate the Voice of the Customer, Voice of the Segment and Voice of Sherwin into clearly defined product development projects. QUALIFICATIONS **Mandatory requirements:** * Completed university degree in Chemistry, Marketing, Business Administration or related fields. * Fluent English. * Fluent Spanish or Portuguese. * Minimum of 3 years of experience working in Oil and Gas subsegments in Marketing or New Business Development roles. **Desirable requirements:** * Completed MBA in Strategic Marketing.
