Are you ready to begin? **With us, you can.** **About this opportunity:** At WSP Argentina, we are seeking an **Environmental Specialist** to join our team at our Mendoza office. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the continuity of ongoing projects and collaborating with the environmental team. **Responsibilities:** * Preparation of Environmental Impact Reports and biodiversity reports, including biological monitoring and carbon footprint assessment. * Development of mine closure plans in accordance with local and international regulations. * Drafting technical documentation to comply with international environmental standards (e.g., IFC, Equator Principles). * Identification, systematization, and verification of project environmental commitments. * Execution of environmental due diligence processes during evaluation and follow-up stages. * Generation of environmental performance reports, both on compliance with commitments and overall project status. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Ecology, Renewable Natural Resources Engineering, or related field. * Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in similar roles. * Experience and proficiency with Geographic Information Systems (QGis). * Experience in preparing environmental reports for mining and industrial sectors. * Knowledge of environmental management systems and legislation. * Familiarity with international standards (IFC). * Valid driver’s license, 4x4 driving experience, willingness to travel to field sites. **What we offer:** * 40-hour work week. * Flexible working hours. Reference: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 17:00 hrs.
