Job Summary:
A legal professional with expertise in local Labor Law and Labor Procedural Law, responsible for labor case filing, attendance at hearings, and providing legal advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Labor case filing and advancement, and attendance at hearings
2. Legal advice to clients during judicial proceedings
3. Comprehensive case management and coordination with attorneys
The professional must possess specific knowledge of local Labor Law and Labor Procedural Law, and will be responsible, among other duties, for the following:
Filing and advancing labor cases by submitting pleadings in judicial proceedings and making in-person claims before court benches.
Attending Conciliation, Initial, and Trial Hearings—both virtual and in-person—including client representation and contact with the defendant party.
Filing procedural appeals in accordance with the current Labor Procedural Code applicable in the jurisdiction.
Preparing labor settlements in compliance with the internal standards of the law firm.
Providing legal advice to clients at various stages of judicial proceedings.
Comprehensive case monitoring and management across the four judicial districts of Mendoza Province.
Ongoing coordination and communication with attorneys covering the remaining judicial districts of Mendoza, including hearing scheduling and submission of pleadings.
Tracking client collections and court-ordered or agreed-upon attorney fees.
Maintaining fluent communication and preparing periodic management reports for the Legal Department Management at the firm’s headquarters (AMBA).
Challenging and overseeing expert opinions, as well as contacting and coordinating with experts according to the requirements of each case file.
