Responsible for the implementation and execution of strategies, programs, and policies, as well as providing day-to-day HR support within a Flowserve business unit. **Responsibilities:** * Collaborate with assigned leaders and key stakeholders and advise them by applying HR solutions to resolve business issues. * Serve as an HR Business Partner to assigned business leaders and their teams, driving operational success through corporate strategies. * Provide comprehensive human resources support including organizational development, employee relations, labor relations, talent management, talent acquisition, performance management, development, coaching, employee engagement, and succession planning activities. * Lead and administer HR programs and processes efficiently and effectively. * Work with leaders to identify high-potential employees and support them to ensure these individuals are prepared for continued success within Flowserve. * Support managers in the workflow of requests, including accuracy/quality of job descriptions and overall data accuracy. * Collaborate with talent acquisition resources to fill vacancies with high-quality candidates; support the hiring process through interviews, offer generation/approval, and escalation of hard-to-fill requisitions. * Develop hiring managers' capabilities in selection tools/processes to enable the best possible hiring decisions. Contribute to the selection process for managerial hires and other key decisions. * Support onboarding of new hires and facilitate orientation programs. * Approve written actions related to employees, including performance improvement plans and progressive disciplinary actions; request further review from the * Employee Experience and Legal Department as needed. * Investigate complaints and claims related to disciplinary actions, protecting confidentiality and sensitivity of investigation details. * Support employee engagement initiatives at the site level, including survey participation; drive accountability from employees and managers in plans to monitor and improve engagement. * Provide initial guidance to managers on compensation matters (e.g., salary adjustments, promotions, etc.) and benefits requests (e.g., expatriate transfers/additional benefits); refer to appropriate HR and business owners for final approval. * Advise managers on the implementation of the continuous performance management process and influence improvement in compliance and effectiveness. * Ensure achievement of performance culture goals by actively promoting strong performance differentiation with manager support. * Responsible for all processing of employment documentation in accordance with local labor requirements, including support of outsourcing. * Knowledge of HR policies and practices, labor requirements, and employment legislation. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives exercising sound judgment and flexibility. * Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization. * Contribute to a culture that puts people first and inspire leaders to operate with a business mindset. * Maintain unwavering safety and quality expectations. * Enhance the HR brand within Flowserve with high-quality products and solutions that drive business results. * Other duties as assigned. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 8-10 years of relevant experience. * Fluency in English and Portuguese. * Ability to leverage HR data to support conversations with business partners. * Previous experience in coaching and managing change management programs. * Experience working with manufacturing, engineering, or sales teams. * Experience with Workday. * Ability to influence others on proposed actions, being firm yet diplomatic at the same time. * Willingness to travel as necessary.
