Preference \- Candidates based in South America only (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, etc.)** We’re a **Shark Tank India Season 4–featured Animation Studio**, creating high\-impact, cinematic short\-form content that blends storytelling, humor, and visual brilliance.If you enjoy crafting sharp, character\-driven comedy and bringing animated worlds to life, this role is for you. **About The Role** The Future Animations is working on a new adult animated series and is looking for a seasoned comedy writer to help shape it from the ground up. You’ll write the pilot episode and map out the first season, creating punchy, irreverent storytelling inspired by Family Guy, The Simpsons, and South Park, adapted to our original characters and world. **Scope of Work** * Work closely with The Future Animations team to shape and strengthen the core concept, characters, and world of the series. * Define the overall series premise and narrative direction for the first season (8–12 short episodes). * Develop a concise season outline, including episode loglines or brief summaries. * Write a professionally formatted pilot script and scripts for short\-form animated episodes (approximately 5–8 minutes each). * Create sharp, joke\-heavy dialogue with strong visual humor, cutaways, and absurd comedic beats designed specifically for animation. * Iterate on scripts based on creative feedback and production needs. **Style \& Tone** * Adult animated sitcom with a strong focus on character\-driven comedy. * Satirical, edgy, and irreverent humor while remaining suitable for platform and regional content guidelines. * Storylines rooted in everyday family or social situations, amplified through exaggerated and absurd scenarios. **Requirements** * Demonstrated experience in comedy writing, ideally across adult animation, sitcoms, sketch comedy, or similar formats. * A strong portfolio with 2–3 relevant writing samples (animated, comedy, or sitcom scripts preferred). * Solid understanding of TV script structure, including cold opens, acts, A/B plots, and act breaks. * Proven ability to write distinct character voices and manage ensemble casts. * Open to feedback and capable of revising scripts within set timelines. * Excellent written English and strong familiarity with Western/global pop culture. **Nice to Have** * Prior experience working on adult animated series, animated YouTube channels, or web\-based animation projects. * Background in satire, social commentary, or topical humor. * Basic understanding of how scripts translate into storyboards and animatics. **Compensation Structure** **(Project Basis) \- $100\-$150/script of 5\-8 mins.** **How to Apply** Fill out the form below and let’s create something crazy together. **Apply here:** Job Types: Part\-time, Temporary Work Location: Remote
