Worker Type: Permanent Position Overview: Responsible for assisting higher-qualified peers in workshop or field tasks. Gains knowledge of Caterpillar, IR, or similar machinery to perform more complex tasks in the future. Performs lower-complexity tasks independently and participates in removal and installation of major components under direct supervision. Finning, a strategic partner of CATERPILLAR and leader in equipment distribution and services, is seeking top talent to fill the Officer 2 Technician role at its Mendoza branch. Key Responsibilities: * Clean parts and components; * Maintain a clean and orderly work area; * Collaborate with more experienced employees; * Place spare parts orders; * Analyze written materials such as service manuals, parts catalogs, and mechanical and maintenance forms; * Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and collect oil samples from components (APD); * Remove and install external components such as hoods, guards, counterweights, plates, etc.; * Assist in the removal and installation of major components such as hydraulic valves, engines, transmissions, torque converters, drive axles, suspensions, etc.; * Execute activities in accordance with instructions received regarding SHEQ management and actively participate in SHEQ-related actions specific to their area. Experience and Knowledge: * Graduate technician from an institute or university, specializing in automotive mechanics, electronics, or electricity. * Demonstrated technical knowledge. Minimum 1 year of experience in similar positions. * Team-oriented mindset, willingness to learn, and collaborative attitude toward peers. * Commitment to and respect for safety regulations and environmental protection. * Availability for full-time employment. * Must reside in Mendoza.
