Job stability and an excellent work environment A company dedicated to supplying ventilation components and ductwork assembly materials, located in the Boedo neighborhood (CABA), is seeking a purchasing analyst to join its team. Position Objective: Ensure strategic and continuous product supply while optimizing acquisition costs and maintaining strict control over incoming inventory, guaranteeing full transparency and total control in every transaction. Duties and Responsibilities: - Plan and issue purchase orders timely and accurately, based on supplier lead times, to prevent stockouts. - Quality control upon receipt: coordinate with the warehouse area in a timely manner to validate incoming goods against the issued purchase order (quantities, technical specifications, and material condition) using a checklist. - Inventory update and audit: maintain real-time inventory system updates by reconciling physical stock with system data and immediately reporting discrepancies. - Document management and tracking: issuance, filing, and follow-up of purchase orders. - Supplier development and evaluation. - KPIs: keep the department’s KPI report up to date. Requirements to Apply: - Education and Experience: Professionals or advanced students in Business Administration, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Proven experience of 2–4 years in similar positions. - Advanced Excel proficiency (mandatory): ability to create complex pivot tables, use advanced functions (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, IFS), basic macros, and cross large-scale databases for stock turnover analysis and inventory valuation. - Management Systems: fluent use of billing software, procurement modules, and ERP systems. Experience with Project Management Software. - Inventory Control: solid knowledge of stock control methodologies (minimum/maximum levels, reorder point, FIFO). - Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools (e.g., prompts for data analysis and rapid reporting).
