This role involves designing scalable solutions, implementing best practices in testing, and driving continuous improvement in quality and efficiency. As a technical leader, you will mentor and guide the team in adopting tools like Playwright while identifying and implementing end\-to\-end validations (UI, API, and data). The ideal candidate is a proactive and adaptable professional with strong technical expertise and leadership skills. **What you'll do:** * **Design and implement automation frameworks:** Define architecture, standards, and best practices to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions. * **Develop risk\-based automation strategies:** Analyze processes, prioritize test automation areas, and establish coverage strategies (e.g., E2E, integration). * **Provide technical leadership and mentoring:** Train team members on tools like Playwright, software testing techniques, and analytical thinking for automation. Coordinate squad assignments, priorities, and initiative tracking. * **Offer technical support for projects:** Guide automation initiatives (e.g., content validations, data integration), ensuring technical evolution and proper implementation. * **Create end\-to\-end solutions:** Integrate validations across UI, API, and data layers, ensuring functional consistency in automated flows. * **Standardize and scale automation practices:** Define reusable guidelines and promote replicable solutions across projects and accounts. * **Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines:** Prepare and adapt workflows for automated execution in pipelines, ensuring reporting accuracy and stability. * **Analyze and improve processes:** Evaluate results, identify inefficiencies (e.g., flaky tests), and optimize solutions for better performance and reliability. **What you'll need:** *Hard Skills:* * Expertise in process analysis for identifying automation opportunities. * Development of automation frameworks using **Playwright** (TypeScript/JavaScript). * Experience in testing architecture design (POM, modularization, best practices). * Proficiency in API testing with **Postman** (contracts, validations, business logic). * Risk\-based automation strategy (impact × probability). * Integration of automation workflows into **CI/CD pipelines** (execution, reporting, stability). * End\-to\-end validation across **UI, API, and data layers**. * Advanced debugging skills (E2E flows, flaky tests, selectors). * Automation for CMS content (not web apps/products). * Management of environments, variables, and test data. *Soft Skills:* * Strategic thinking to define what to automate and why. * Technical leadership with mentoring capabilities (even without formal authority). * Strong communication skills to bridge technical and business perspectives. * Analytical mindset for solving complex problems and root cause analysis. * Autonomy and initiative to define solutions independently. * Focus on continuous improvement and process optimization. * Adaptability to work with different technologies, contexts, and projects. * Ability to train and scale knowledge across the team.
