Because the challenges you’ll take on reflect your ambitions! **Responsibilities and Accountabilities** Role Information * Role title: Junior Web Application Developer * Department: Digital Productivity \& Innovation (DPI) – P\&S LATAM * Reports to: Supply Chain Design \& Data Analytics Manager * Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina (contracted via consulting firm) * Scope: Regional (LATAM) Role Purpose Build internal web applications that consume data from Databricks, present it in clear and actionable interfaces, and integrate artificial intelligence agents. This role enables the DPI LATAM team to rapidly prototype solutions, validate them, and deploy them to production without relying on external resources. Accountabilities * Design, develop, and deploy internal web applications for the analytics and supply chain teams. * Consume data from APIs connected to Databricks and present it in dashboards and interactive interfaces. * Integrate artificial intelligence agents into web applications. * Rapid prototyping: take a requirement and deliver a functional version within days, iterating with the team. * Deploy validated prototypes to production with clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. * Implement responsive design and UX judgment so applications are usable without designer intervention. * Use AI\-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalents) to accelerate development. * Collaborate with data engineers and analytics managers to define which data to consume and how to present it. * Participate in code reviews, architectural decisions, and technical documentation. Knowledge, Experience \& Capabilities Education: Advanced student or graduate in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Web Design, or related field. EXPERIENCE: * 1\-2 years of web development experience (frontend or fullstack). * Experience deploying applications to production (any environment). * Preferably with exposure to corporate environments or internal consumer applications. MANDATORY SKILLS: * HTML / CSS / JavaScript: solid foundation; ability to build applications without relying on a framework. * Consuming REST APIs (fetch, JSON, basic authentication). * Responsive design and UX judgment. * Git for code versioning. * Deployment of applications to production. * AI\-assisted development (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalents). * Basic Python (to connect with scripts or simple backends). NICE TO HAVE: * Knowledge of React, Vue, Svelte, or another modern framework (NodeJS, Flask, Streamlit, Dash) * Data visualization libraries (Chart.js, D3\.js, Plotly). * Basic Python (to connect with scripts or simple backends). * Familiarity with integration with AI/LLM APIs. * Tailwind CSS or similar styling frameworks. * Intermediate/advanced English. Critical Success Factors \& Key Challenges * Prototyping speed: deliver functional versions in days, not weeks. * Deploy prototypes to production without compromising quality or maintainability. * Integrate high-volume data into fluid and performant interfaces. * Work autonomously while remaining integrated within the team, proactively communicating progress and blockers.
