**Software Engineer (Java+Python+FastAPI/PySpark) – Hybrid, CABA, Argentina.** As a Software Engineer on the Index Technology team, you will be an experienced member of an agile team designing and delivering market-leading technology products securely, stably, and scalably. You will be responsible for delivering critical technology solutions across multiple technical domains within various business functions to support the company’s business objectives. **Job Responsibilities:** * Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical problem-solving with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or decompose technical problems. * Write secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. * Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring that design constraints are adhered to during software code development. * Collect, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reports from diverse large-scale datasets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems. * Proactively identify hidden issues and patterns in data and leverage these insights to drive improvements in code hygiene and system architecture. **Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:** * 5–10 years of experience in software development or a related field. * Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. * Expertise in programming with Java and Python. * Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database query languages such as Sybase and PostgreSQL. * General knowledge of the software development lifecycle. * Solid understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resilience, and security. * Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline. * English: B2+, C1+ recommended. **Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:** * Exposure to cloud technologies, including AWS. * Experience with PySpark and FastAPI. * AWS certifications are desirable. **Work Requirements:** * Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM (40 hours per week). * Hybrid.
