We are seeking a graduate in Occupational Hygiene and Safety or an Engineer specialized in Occupational Safety and Health, with over 7 years of experience in industrial safety and hygiene management—preference given to candidates who have led safety teams and initiatives in multinational, multisite environments. As the **EHS Manager**, your mission will be to lead, define, and manage the global Industrial Safety and Hygiene strategy for the Biomás and IMSA plants, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and Ferring’s corporate standards, while also guaranteeing a safe and healthy work environment for employees, contractors, and visitors through risk management, continuous training, budget management, and promotion of a proactive prevention culture.
**Your Day at BIOMÁS**
* Actively promote safety-oriented behavior among all employees. Develop, implement, and foster activities/projects to improve working conditions for employees, contractors, and visitors.
* Provide strategic advice to senior management on fire prevention and protection to minimize asset loss.
* Define and implement the plant’s Industrial Safety objectives in alignment with the company’s needs and goals.
* Develop and promote a safety policy across facilities.
* Supervise employee exposure to hazardous chemicals and other toxic substances, as well as physical risks. Manage and advise on required protective safety measures.
* Manage internal and external audits and their corrective actions, along with all communications and audits conducted by local authorities.
* Oversee the safety budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, and negotiate with suppliers and service providers.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Hygiene and Safety or an Engineering degree with specialization in Occupational Safety and Health.
* More than 7 years of experience in industrial safety and hygiene management, preferably within the chemical or food industry, leading safety teams and initiatives in multinational, multisite environments.
* Specialized knowledge of ISO 45001, safety risk assessments, ergonomics, incident investigation, industrial hygiene, fire protection, and contractor management.
* Demonstrated project management experience and ability to drive results through innovation and problem solving.
* Proven experience in complex, high-risk process industries.
* Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
* Demonstrated experience in leading cultural change initiatives.
* Advanced English proficiency (both written and spoken).
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00.
Work location: Villa Maipú, San Martín – Buenos Aires Province.
