




Position Summary: Evaluate, analyze, and execute the optimal procurement option for spare parts and technical consumables to ensure workshop supply, optimizing price, quality, and delivery timelines. Key Highlights: 1. Manages the technical procurement of spare parts and consumables for the mechanical workshop. 2. Negotiates with suppliers and ensures traceability of procurement operations. 3. Develops and updates the supplier portfolio to optimize procurement channels. MISSION Evaluate, analyze, and execute the optimal procurement option for Spare Parts and/or Technical Consumables—considering price/quality and delivery timelines—to ensure proper supply to the mechanical workshop's storeroom. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Quote, analyze, and negotiate the best (technical) procurement option for Mechanical Spare Parts, Consumables, Accessories, and/or Materials to supply the Mechanical Workshop—ensuring proper operation of Heavy Machinery, Forklifts, Container Handlers, Straddle Carriers, and Trucks. 2) Perform daily administrative operational data entry into the management system to ensure end-to-end traceability of procurement operations. 3) Monitor purchase order status with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and communicate order status to internal customers. 4) Efficiently and proactively resolve urgent procurement requests to meet the Mechanical Workshop’s needs. 5) Develop and update the supplier portfolio to optimize procurement channels and improve efficiency and effectiveness. 6) Analyze, research, and advise internal customers on products and services to optimize costs and guarantee fulfillment of emerging requirements. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • Minimum education: Technical Secondary School; university studies are preferred. • Knowledge of Factory Manuals / Machinery Blueprints reading. • Knowledge of Technical Language (Mechanical / Hydraulic / Electromechanical). • Knowledge of ISO Standards (9001, 14001, 45001). • Advanced Excel proficiency. • Intermediate Technical English proficiency. • Knowledge of international trade. GENERAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • Relevant experience in Port Industry, Automotive, Logistics, or Transportation sectors.
