The candidate's mission will be to ensure that products or services reach customers efficiently and within the scheduled time frame, optimizing resources and minimizing associated costs. This includes supervising all logistics activities, such as transportation, warehousing, distribution, and inventory management. Main Responsibilities: - Inventory Planning and Control: Ensure inventory levels are appropriate to meet demand without incurring excesses that generate unnecessary costs. - Transportation and Distribution Management: Coordinate product transportation, whether internal or via external carriers, and ensure adherence to established deadlines. - Logistics Process Optimization: Continuously seek to improve efficiency and reduce costs through the implementation of technologies, best practices, or process reengineering. - Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments. - Supplier and Carrier Negotiation: Manage relationships with suppliers and carriers to secure beneficial agreements and control delivery terms. - Quality Control: Supervise that products are delivered in good condition, meeting required quality standards.
