Today, we serve over 9 million active users—including both consumers and merchants—and have become a trusted brand in Venezuela, winning the hearts and minds of people. #### **Role Summary** The SOC (Security Operations) Engineer is responsible for detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents. They manage SIEM and SOAR, oversee log ingestion, develop alerts and indicators, and coordinate execution of threat response playbooks. #### **Key Responsibilities** * Administer and maintain SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) * Administer and maintain SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) * Configure log sources, ensuring proper ingestion of events from critical systems * Design and maintain correlation rules and alerts for threat detection * Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, standardizing analysis and containment processes * Perform threat analysis, triage, and incident response activities * Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities * Manage incident simulation exercises * Analyze alerts and conduct incident investigations to identify threats, exploits, vulnerabilities, or anomalous behavior * Contribute to SOC task automation through tool development, threat intelligence, integrations, or SOAR tools #### **Requirements** * Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, OpenSearch, Sentinel, QRadar, etc.) * Knowledge of log analysis, threat detection, MITRE ATT\&CK, and forensic analysis * Experience in scripting or automation (Python, bash) * Familiarity with open-source security technologies (OpenSearch, Wazuh) * Familiarity with incident response frameworks (NIST 800\-61, SANS) #### **We Value** * Experience with GCP-based security tools and services * Experience handling escalations and incidents * Understanding of the SOCless methodology * Strong communication and technical documentation skills * Experience automating processes * Experience authoring Postmortems and Incident Reports #### **Why You’ll Love Working at Cashea** At Cashea, our work culture is built on trust and purpose.
