We are currently looking for a LOGISTICS ASSISTANT to work at our branch in Rio Tercero, Buenos Aires, Argentina. **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Safely handle and transport materials within company facilities, following established safety procedures and guidelines. * Maintain accurate records of stock levels and locations through periodic inventories and inventory management activities. * Coordinate transportation of materials to and from suppliers and customers, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of goods. * Manage waste in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations to support sustainability goals. * Collaborate in establishing a materials plan based on production targets and forecasted demand to effectively meet company requirements. * Work with team members to optimize material flow and storage within facilities, ensuring operational efficiency and timely access to supplies. * Support the organization in maintaining a clean and organized workplace to facilitate safe and efficient material handling processes. **Competencies** ---------------- * Completed secondary education, preferably technical. * Initial relevant work experience. * Knowledge of material handling and storage procedures to ensure workplace safety and efficiency. * Understanding of inventory management principles and practices to maintain accurate records and optimize stock levels. * Ability to safely and competently operate material handling equipment such as forklifts. * Basic knowledge of transportation and logistics processes to coordinate material movement. * Awareness of environmental regulations related to waste management to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. **What We Offer** ----------------- * The opportunity to join the rapidly growing PALFINGER family * Competitive compensation package * A friendly and proactive team * Training * Development Are you interested in this position or do you have any questions?
