We are looking for a ***Cloud Deployment Monitoring and AWS/On-Prem Integration Specialist (SSR-SR)*** to join the IT Patagonia community. \#Bepatagonian Functions and Responsibilities: Coordinate and monitor AWS deployments, controls, tests, and rollback plans. Validate functional and non-functional requirements (performance, security, availability) with technical teams. Serve as the operational point of contact among vendor, infrastructure/cloud, development, security, and business teams. Ensure technical and deployment documentation; manage incidents to resolution. Understand AWS architecture (microservices, Lambdas, SQS, Kinesis, API Gateway, EventBridge, etc.) and ensure consistency across DEV, QA, PRE, and PROD environments. Oversee Cloud-On-Prem integration via APIs and events, and coordinate connectivity (VPN, gateways, firewalls, etc.). Verify API compliance with security guidelines; coordinate reviews with Security and adhere to policies on secrets, certificates, and credentials. Maintain deployment plans, checklists, and dependency matrices; document lessons learned and propose improvements (automation, alerts). Ensure metrics and alerts for microservices, queues, Lambdas, and APIs; manage pre-deployment risks and participate in incidents and rollbacks. Desired Technical Requirements: AWS experience with microservices, Lambdas, SQS, Kinesis, or other event-driven components. Knowledge of event-driven architectures and API-based integrations (REST, messaging, events). Experience in hybrid Cloud + On-Premise environments. Knowledge of API security (auth, tokens, certificates, encryption, OWASP API Security). Desirable: networking (VPN, routing, firewalls, load balancers, DNS), cybersecurity fundamentals, and AWS monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, APMs).
