We are currently seeking a WELDER OPERATOR to work at our headquarters in RIO TERCERO, Córdoba, Argentina. **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Apply organizational principles, values, and management policies within the scope of their activities * Continuously seek improvements in their area of expertise to keep processes updated and competitive * Comply with established occupational safety procedures * Maintain a clean and organized workplace * Perform assembly (tack welding) and welding services on low/medium complexity components and subcomponents according to production schedule * Operate overhead cranes as required for production * Complete or follow up on manufacturing orders in the sector * Conduct general inspection of equipment to be used * Perform tasks using angle grinders and straight grinders (Turbinetas) * Identify different types of abrasive discs and select the appropriate ones according to the task * Use of torch, which is applied in certain areas requiring preheating activities such as cylinders, rods, pivots, columns, among others * Perform visual inspection of welded components, verifying quality requirements * Correctly use PPE, work instructions, checklists, and other documents **Competencies** ---------------- * Completed secondary school or technical education, preferably in metallurgy or mechatronics * Welding or related tasks * Ability to adjust welding power sources * Training in welding-related topics and/or applicable procedures for the role * Reading and interpreting technical drawings * Interpretation of welding symbols * Metrology * GMAW welding process * Welder qualification * Identification of welding defects * Welding symbolism * Differentiation between discontinuities and defects * Component assembly – tack welding * Knowledge of workplace safety * Use of hand tools (angle grinder / straight grinder / torch) * Knowledge of best practices when using manual grinders * Ability to perform in a fixed work position, with basic knowledge in other similar components.
