Proactive role in improving workflows and security standards We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior Infrastructure \& Security Engineer** to join our remote IT team as an **Independent Contractor**. This role is ideal for a proactive and experienced professional who can handle advanced troubleshooting, manage and improve IT infrastructures, and ensure the stability, security, and scalability of both internal systems and client environments. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide advanced Tier 3 remote troubleshooting for network, hardware, and software issues * Manage and optimize Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and cloud environments * Administer servers, user accounts, permissions, and security policies * Design and implement infrastructure improvements for performance and scalability * Configure and support firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and routing * Manage backups, disaster recovery, and endpoint security * Lead or assist in incident response and security\-related events * Document configurations, procedures, and technical environments * Support onboarding and access management across multiple environments * Proactively improve workflows, reliability, and security standards * Ensure compliance with security best practices and data protection standards **Requirements** * 7\+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or MSP environments * Strong networking knowledge (firewalls, VPNs, Windows \& macOS environments) * Hands\-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms * Experience managing backup solutions and disaster recovery processes * Familiarity with automation or system integrations (Zoho, Monday, or similar tools) * Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently * Strong English communication and documentation skills (B2–C1\) * Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fully remote environment * Reliable workstation and stable internet connection **Benefits** * Long\-term contractor collaboration * Fully remote work environment * Exposure to diverse infrastructure projects * Opportunity for technical growth and specialization Job Type: Full\-time Pay: From $3,400,000\.00 per month Application Question(s): * What's your salary expectation?
