We are currently seeking a **WELDER** to work at our headquarters in **RIO TERCERO, Córdoba, Argentina.** **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Apply organizational principles, values, and management policies within the scope of assigned activities. Training according to GMAW – Palfinger training guide Reference: Theoretical training: 16 hours Practical training: 85 hours Preparation and certification: 29 hours Total: 130 hours (3.5 weeks) * Participate in related departmental tasks; be willing to undergo training to acquire required job skills * Use safety equipment both inside and outside the department. Receive training on safety aspects related to welding and associated tasks * Maintain a clean and organized workstation. (5S) * Assist in organizing and cleaning the department Perform assembly (tack welding) and welding operations on low-complexity assemblies and subassemblies, in accordance with the production schedule* supervised by the department technician * Perform lifting operations using overhead cranes as required for production, ensuring personal safety and that of colleagues * Adhere to scheduled working hours and respect break times * Conduct daily general inspection of equipment to be used * Perform tasks using angle grinders and straight grinders (die grinders) * Identify abrasive disc types and select appropriate discs for specific tasks * Use proper protective equipment for such tasks, ensuring personal safety and that of colleagues * Must have training in safe practices for manual grinder use * Use of oxy-fuel torch… applied in certain areas requiring preheating, such as columns, rods, pivots, etc. * Use of oxy-fuel torch when necessary to cut thick plates or remove parts of welded components requiring correction or modification * Stamp identification on welded components * Conduct visual inspection of welded components, verifying quality requirements according to drawings and welding Pnorms **Competencies** ---------------- * Completed secondary education and/or advanced studies at a Technical School, preferably in metallurgy * 1 year of experience in welding or related activities * Willingness and aptitude for training * Welding symbols * Drawing interpretation * Welding qualification * Basic occupational safety knowledge * Dexterity * Welding power source adjustment * Metrology **What We Offer** ----------------- * Opportunity to join the fast-growing PALFINGER family * Competitive compensation package * A friendly and proactive team * Training * Development ### **Valentina Ferreyra** HR Assistant Location ### **Río Tercero** *Andrés N.
