Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced climber to join the technical team of a theatrical production, combining heavy structural rigging with onstage artist flying safety. Key Highlights: 1. Job Search: Climber with instructor experience for a theatrical show. Job Description: We are looking for a climber specialized in structures and climbing to join our technical team. The role combines heavy structural rigging with the critical responsibility of onstage performers’ flying and safety. Key Responsibilities: Structural Rigging: Assembly, leveling, and securing truss structures and anchoring points (bridles) on ceilings or grid systems. Flying Systems (Clipping): Operating flying systems, connecting harnesses, and supervising actor/acrobat safety before and during performances. Motors and Rigging Hardware: Installing and inspecting chain motors (CM, Chain Master, or similar), pulleys, and steel cables. Safety Inspection: Daily verification of critical points, material fatigue, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Onstage Coordination: Fluent communication with stage direction and performers for choreographed flying maneuvers. Mandatory Requirements: Climbing Ability: Capability to work at elevated heights with full autonomy and safety. Technical Knowledge: Advanced proficiency in knots, slings, safety carabiners, full-body harnesses, and braking systems. Valid Certification: Working at height and rescue (IRAM/OSHA standards) — NOT mandatory. Profile: Extremely detail-oriented, punctual individual with strong composure under pressure. Preferred Qualifications: Technical high-angle rescue training. Availability for nighttime performances and weekends.
