We foster trust-based, honest relationships and value passion for technology. **Azure Data Engineer & Data Architect – Senior** We are looking for a **Senior Data Engineer & Data Architect** to join a challenging project, leading the evolution of a modern data platform on **Microsoft Azure**. We seek a hybrid profile combining expertise in **Data Architecture** and **Data Engineering**, capable of designing scalable solutions, developing data pipelines, and collaborating with business and BI teams to ensure reliable and high-quality data. ???? Work Mode * Hybrid: once per week in Moreno, Province of Buenos Aires. **???? Working Hours** ---------------- * Monday to Friday, full-time, 9:00–18:00 Assignment Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension **???? Responsibilities** -------------------------- * Design and evolve data architectures on Azure. * Implement and maintain Data Lakes and Data Warehouses. * Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics. * Model data for efficient consumption in Power BI. * Ensure data quality, traceability, and availability. * Automate processes using Azure DevOps and orchestration tools. * Collaborate with business areas and BI teams to translate requirements into data solutions. * Document architectures, standards, and technical decisions. **✅ Mandatory Requirements** ---------------------------- * Experience in Data Engineering and/or Data Architecture. * Proven experience working with **Microsoft Azure**. * Experience with: * Azure Data Factory (ADF) * Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2\) * Azure Databricks / Apache Spark * Azure Synapse Analytics * Azure SQL Database * Python (PySpark and Pandas). * Advanced SQL. * Git. * Experience designing and implementing Data Lakes or Data Warehouses. * Functional knowledge of Power BI and data modeling for analytical consumption. * Experience working alongside BI teams and business areas. * **Preferred Qualifications** * Azure Key Vault. * Azure Monitor. * Microsoft Purview. * Microsoft Fabric. * Unity Catalog (Databricks). * Data Mesh / Data Fabric. * Lakehouse architectures. * Data quality tools (Great Expectations, Soda, or others). * Microsoft Azure certifications.
