This role sits at the intersection of product engineering, data intelligence, and AI/ML innovation. You'll architect and build AWS\-native solutions that process complex procurement workflows, extract and normalize data from diverse document formats (especially PDFs), and leverage fuzzy matching algorithms and machine learning to automate supplier data reconciliation. ### **‍ Key Responsibilities** * Lead technical strategy and architecture * Architect scalable AWS solutions * Design and implement data processing pipelines * Build robust PDF extraction and document intelligence systems * Lead backend development with Python, * Drive technical architecture decisions * Deliver value across the cloud stack, * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams * Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness * Grow and mentor a team of 3 4 engineers * Address technical debt strategically * Identify and correct bottlenecks * Establish and maintain code quality standards, * Implement and evangelize modern automated testing * Advocate for incremental delivery and trunk\-based development, * Champion AI\-driven development practices ### **If you have** * 7\+ years of professional software engineering experience * Deep proficiency in Python * Real\-world AWS knowledge * Strong TypeScript expertise * Strong data processing experience * Production experience with PDF and document processing, * Experience with fuzzy matching and data reconciliation, * Proven experience designing and implementing microservices and event\-driven architectures * Experience with distributed systems, * Strong understanding of API design ### **It’s a plus** * Experience applying machine learning to practical business problems * Expertise with the principles of SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI, and TDD * A thought leader for AI\-driven development * Demonstrated ability to mentor and elevate engineering teams * Familiarity with LLM integration and prompt engineering for document intelligence * Expertise in front\-end performance optimization
