We are currently seeking to hire a Procurement Analyst \- for our office in Buenos Aires \- Argentina. Main Responsibilities: * Negotiate international freight rates—maritime, air, origin-based—and integrated logistics rates, as well as terms with logistics service providers. * Register rate sheets in company files and keep them updated and accessible to internal users. * Request costs for services required to complete business deals generated by commercial executives. * Conduct periodic analysis of rates and origin/destination charges with local suppliers established for different traffic flows, and negotiate the most favorable terms for the company based on such analysis. * Provide technical advisory support to internal users—commercial and operations teams—regarding relevant information needed to quote a viable and cost-effective logistics solution. * Research the market to develop new routes (rates, new suppliers) and identify new suppliers. * Analyze quotation outcomes to continuously improve negotiation performance. * Identify, qualify, and maintain relationships with new suppliers.
