




REMOTE ARGENTINA September 5, 2025 Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior SQL Developer for a full\-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. You will play a crucial role in developing, optimizing, and integrating data solutions within a Snowflake environment. The position requires working closely with other developers, data teams, and cross\-functional units to ensure the successful delivery of data solutions. This role involves migrating data, performing data validation, and automating processes for improved efficiency. Team members will collaborate in a dynamic, cross\-functional environment, focusing on optimizing and automating data systems to achieve enhanced business outcomes.* REQUIREMENTS * 3\-8 years of experience in SQL development, OLTP/OLAP systems, and data warehousing. * Experience with ANSI SQL (Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server). Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, Vertica, or other columnar database technologies is highly advantageous. * Solid knowledge of ANSI Compliant SQL, MS T\-SQL, PL/SQL. * Strong understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL), ETL processes, and database optimization. * Knowledge of Python for ETL processes and data migration. * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non\-technical stakeholders. * A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is strongly preferred. Relevant certifications or advanced degrees are a plus. NICE TO HAVE * Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS) and Snowflake. * Knowledge of big data technologies (Snowflake, Vertica, Hadoop, Spark, etc.). * Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau). * Experience with AWS and Snowflake. * Knowledge of Python for connecting and moving data via ETL processes. RESPONSIBILITIES * Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support business needs. Optimize query performance and ensure data integrity within a Snowflake environment. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to integrate data sources, implement data models, and ensure scalability, reliability, and consistency across systems. Experience with columnar databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Vertica) is highly beneficial. * Work with existing ETL processes, including Python and Matillion, and assist with the transition and migration to new processes. Limited ETL development will be required, with a focus on pipeline development and migration. * Resolve data integrity issues, performance bottlenecks, and complex data problems. Contribute to improving data quality and efficiency across all systems. * Maintain clear documentation for database structures and processes. * Work with other teams, such as business analysts and DevOps, to ensure seamless data integration and continuous improvement. * Primary Duties: * Support migration processes to the platform, including data validation and automation. * Participate in database management tasks and contribute to enhancing database performance and data quality. * Assist with the deprecation of old systems and the onboarding of new technologies.
