Optimize performance and ensure system uptime We are seeking a **Senior DevOps Engineer** to join our team in driving the successful migration of Cloudera's Distribution including Hadoop (CDH) 6\.x to version 7\.1\.9\. This role will involve collaboration with engineers and ensuring the seamless deployment, support, and maintenance of data infrastructure and CI/CD processes. **Responsibilities** * Collaborate with Data Software Engineers to design and implement effective data solutions * Manage the deployment, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure * Enable CI/CD processes to enhance development efficiency and quality * Ensure smooth migration of Cloudera's Distribution including Hadoop while maintaining system reliability * Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the infrastructure and data processes * Optimize performance and ensure system uptime during and after migration * Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes * Work with cross\-functional teams to coordinate migration activities and development support **Requirements** * 3\+ years of experience in DevOps or a related role * Knowledge of Apache Hadoop HDFS, Apache Impala, and Apache Kafka * Expertise in Cloudera Data Platform and its migration processes * Familiarity with Terraform and Chef Infra * Understanding of scalable data architectures and CI/CD methodologies * Fluent communication skills in English at a B2\+ level **Nice to have** * Proficiency in Scala * Familiarity with AWS IAM, Amazon EC2, and Amazon S3 * Background in Apache Hive and Apache Kudu * Skills in Apache Oozie and KNIME * Understanding of Nagios monitoring tools
