Recognized globally as the benchmark for quality and integrity, SGS employs over 95,000 people and operates a network of more than 2,400 offices and laboratories worldwide. **Job Description** * Perform laboratory sample analyses in accordance with established procedures and required quality standards to meet service requirements. * Conduct physicochemical tests and control the analytical process for laboratory samples of products based on vegetable and animal fats and oils, cereals, oilseeds, and their derivatives, following established procedures and required quality standards to fulfill service requirements while complying fully with safety regulations, quality control standards, organizational policies, and environmental policies. * Monitor the analytical process of performed tests through sample receipt and handling, data processing, recordkeeping, result reporting, and identification of deviations and/or risks. * Participate in updating, developing, verifying, and validating existing and new methodologies. * Operate, support, and maintain equipment and supplies related to assigned responsibilities. **Requirements** * Formal Education: Chemistry Analyst; Mid- or Higher-Level Chemistry Technician; University-Level Chemistry or Food Technology Technician; Professional Technician; or other qualifications focused on Chemistry-related fields. * Experience: Minimum one year of experience in the aforementioned testing activities, preferably in cereals, oilseeds, and by-products. * Essential Competencies: Ability to interpret and apply analytical techniques; practical and theoretical knowledge of analytical methods; calibration and verification of laboratory instrumentation. * Knowledge: Good Laboratory Practices (GLP); traceability in sample handling; use and maintenance of laboratory equipment; document and quality management systems; safety regulations; advanced technical English. **Additional Information** Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. **Benefits**: Top-tier health insurance (covering immediate family members).
