Diagnosis and resolution of hardware and software issues Job Description: We are looking for a Systems Administrator to work for a key member of our organization. This is a **full-time, long-term** and **remote** position based in **Argentina**. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities:** * Resolve issues reported by users. * Make recommendations for future upgrades. * Maintain network and system security. * Monitor servers to ensure security and availability for specific users. * Evaluate and tune system performance. * Maintain network integrity, server deployment, and security. * Ensure enterprise-wide LAN/WAN infrastructure network connectivity aligns with technical requirements. * Assign authentication and authorization configurations for directory services. * Maintain network installations on individual machines, including domain controllers and personal computer and printer configurations. * Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployments, security updates, and patches. * Perform routine server startup and shutdown procedures and maintain control logs. * Conduct data backups and disaster recovery operations. * Diagnose hardware and software issues and replace defective components. * Consult with network users on resolving existing system issues. * Train personnel on computer system usage. **Skills and Qualities:** * Problem Solving: Determine causes of operational errors and decide on appropriate actions. * Reading Comprehension: Understand sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents. * Experience working with enterprise applications, systems administration, and support. * PowerShell Scripting. * Critical Thinking: Use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or problem-solving approaches. * Oral Expression: The ability to communicate information and ideas verbally so others can understand.
