We are seeking a **Senior Project Manager** capable of bringing structure, discipline, and predictability to a fast\-moving engineering environment. This role requires a strong delivery leader who can stabilize processes, enforce SDLC best practices, optimize Jira workflows, and maintain alignment across Product, Engineering, QA, and Executive Leadership. Your mission is to reduce rework, eliminate chaos, and enable reliable and controlled software delivery. **Key Responsibilities1\. Project Planning \& Release Roadmap** * Build and maintain clear release plans, milestones, and quarterly goals. * Define and clarify MVP scope and subsequent release phases. * Establish predictable delivery checkpoints and planning cycles. **2\. Agile \& Sprint Execution** * Own sprint planning, execution, retrospectives, and sprint reporting. * Implement consistent **story points, velocity tracking, capacity planning**, and DOR/DOD. * Ensure teams commit to achievable, realistic goals. **3\. Jira Workflow Governance** * Redesign Jira workflows aligned with real SDLC stages. * Create a **single source of truth** for backlog, boards, and statuses. * Ensure all tickets have clear ownership, estimates, priority, and acceptance criteria. **4\. Cross\-Functional Alignment** * Lead weekly alignment meetings with CPO, PO, CTO, Dev Leads, and QA Lead. * Resolve conflicts between product expectations and technical feasibility. * Maintain unified clarity across all stakeholders. **5\. Risk \& Dependency Management** * Identify risks related to unclear requirements, architecture gaps, external dependencies, unstable teams, and bug load. * Maintain a **risk register** and report mitigation plans weekly. **6\. Team Coordination \& Ceremonies** * Lead daily standups, grooming, planning, and reviews. * Ensure proper documentation is maintained after each decision. * Guarantee the team always has well\-prepared, actionable work. **7\. Scope Control \& Change Governance** * Evaluate every change request for timeline, MVP impact, and feasibility. * Prevent scope creep by enforcing structured decision workflows. **8\. Reporting \& Leadership Visibility** * Deliver weekly status reports covering: * sprint progress * risks \& blockers * velocity * capacity/workload * release readiness * bug patterns * Provide leadership with real\-time visibility into delivery health. **RequirementsExperience** * **7–10\+ years** of project management experience in software development. * Proven track record stabilizing chaotic or immature SDLC environments. * Experience working with **C\-level stakeholders** (CPO, CTO, CEO, etc.). * Experience in engineering\-heavy environments (SaaS, CRM, ERP, marketplaces). **Hard Skills** * Strong mastery of **Scrum/Kanban** and Agile delivery. * Backlog grooming, sprint planning, capacity/velocity management. * Release planning and dependency management. * Advanced **Jira administration** and workflow design. * Strong documentation skills (Confluence, Notion). * Experience with: * cloud\-based architectures * APIs/microservices * QA workflows * automation pipelines * bug lifecycle management **Soft Skills** * Strong leadership and assertiveness — can steer the team, not wait for direction. * Exceptional communication and conflict\-resolution skills. * Proactive problem identification and structured follow\-through. * High accountability and ability to bring order to complex environments. * Calm under pressure; able to manage multiple stakeholders. **Language** * **English: C1 Required** Job Type: Full\-time Work Location: Remote
