Job Summary: We are seeking a Product Engineer to collaborate with design, providing technical criteria to ensure performance, robustness, and quality of parts through mechanical simulations. Product Engineer At Zielteck, we are looking for a professional to join our Engineering department. The position will work closely with design and product teams, providing technical criteria to ensure part performance, robustness, and quality. Main Responsibilities: Prepare models for simulation: cleaning and simplifying 3D geometries (STEP, IGES) from CATIA, SolidWorks or other CAD software. Define contacts, supports, and boundary conditions between parts. Perform linear static analysis to verify deformations and stresses. Evaluate structural stiffness and deformations under various loading conditions. Simulate service loads: self-weight, handling, assembly compression. Perform static thermal analysis (conduction) and evaluate thermal expansions. Execute basic thermomechanical coupling. Document results and generate reports with conclusions and recommendations. Propose design improvements based on simulation results. Coordinate closely with designers and the product team. Requirements: University degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Automotive, Naval Engineering or related fields. 1–3 years of experience conducting mechanical simulations. (Preferred) Ability to produce clear reports with images, color scales, and conclusions. Strong interpretation skills for drawings and tolerances.
