




Position Summary: BSC is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to lead the development and standardization of industrial packaging machinery, contributing technical judgment and holistic vision. Transfer technical expertise and judgment to the younger team BSC, a company dedicated to the manufacturing and marketing of industrial packaging machinery, is hiring a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer. The person in this position will be responsible for technically leading the development, redesign, and standardization of automatic packaging machines (fillers and cappers), ensuring robust solutions from concept through to final manufacturing drawings. This position will play a key role in the technical evolution of the company’s machine line, contributing technical judgment, industrial experience, and a holistic assembly perspective. Main Responsibilities Coordinate and provide technical support to the Technical Office team. • Design machines and mechanical subassemblies considering kinematics, interferences, synchronization, and actual assembly. • Perform 3D design (SolidWorks) and generate part drawings for machining and manufacturing. • Analyze, reinterpret, and digitize historical 2D drawings of existing machines. • Identify and correct design issues arising from lack of constructive experience. • Propose structural improvements, component optimization, and enhanced mechanical robustness. • Provide technical support to the workshop during manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning. • Transfer technical expertise and judgment to the younger team, strengthening the company’s design standards. Requirements: Education: Mechanical Engineer (preferred) or Mechanical/Electromechanical Technician with solid experience in machinery design. Minimum 10 years’ experience designing special-purpose machines or industrial automation systems (mandatory). Demonstrable experience designing mechanisms with motion (cams, pneumatic systems, linear guides, conveyors, synchronization, etc.). Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting 2D drawings and 3D modeling. Experience generating manufacturing and parts drawings for machining. Work Mode: On-site work – Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00 hrs. Work location: Caseros, Buenos Aires Province
