Apply here to launch an extraordinary career today.** AES is seeking a Field Operator U.1\-4 **Role Description:** Perform field operations for the power plant area under your responsibility and monitor process and product variables to ensure service continuity, equipment availability, and facility performance. **Responsibilities:** * Analyze operational variables in the field; report abnormalities to the control room and implement corrective actions as needed, intervening on mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic equipment. Perform first-line maintenance tasks on equipment. * Conduct startup and shutdown maneuvers for generating units and/or auxiliary equipment. Coordinate and perform required electrical (high-, medium-, and low-voltage) and manual operational maneuvers, coordinating with other departments. * Conduct operational rounds, verifying equipment parameters and recording observations. * Assess any anomalies that could adversely affect production (both quantity and quality), as well as any incidents that could impact the environment or personnel and facility safety, immediately notifying the Shift Supervisor. * Issue corrective maintenance requests. Monitor and complete field control forms for controlled variables, completing established quality records for your area. * Record and report non-conformities to the Shift Supervisor and/or Control Room Operator. * Comply with internal Safety and Environmental regulations, as well as applicable Argentine legislation. Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement processes. * Coordinate activities related to compliance with Integrated Management System standards and norms. **Requirements:** * Completed technical secondary education (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Electromechanical, Chemical) or equivalent higher technical degrees in related fields, or advanced engineering students. * Over one year of experience in similar roles involving power plant or continuous process operations. * Ability to read electrical diagrams, P&IDs, and others. * Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word. * Technical English knowledge preferred. **We improve the lives of more than 10\+ million people through the safe and reliable delivery of energy.
