**About the Project** Our Customer is building next\-generation Platforms designed for educational district Superintendents. The platform aims to help education leaders enhance their decision\-making, leadership, and operational effectiveness, ultimately improving student outcomes at scale. **Tech Stack** * **Frontend:** React.js * **Backend:** Python (FastAPI/Django preferred) * **AI/LLM Integration:** OpenAI API * **Database:** PostgreSQL * **DevOps:** Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions or similar), cloud\-based deployment (AWS/GCP) **Role Overview** We're seeking a Senior Full\-Stack Engineer to lead in designing and developing the platform's core features. You'll work closely with product and AI teams, make key technical decisions, and mentor a Mid\-Level Full\-Stack Engineer. This hands\-on leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives on impact and ownership and is passionate about using technology to drive systemic improvements in education. **Responsibilities** Lead the end\-to\-end design, development, and deployment of features. * Architect scalable front\-end and back\-end components. * Integrate AI\-driven features using OpenAI models. * Collaborate with product, AI, and design teams to align technical vision with educational impact. * Review code, enforce best practices, and mentor a mid\-level engineer. * Drive architectural and tooling decisions, including performance and security. * Ensure code quality through testing, CI/CD, and documentation. * * Contribute to shaping the product roadmap from a technical perspective. **Qualifications** 5\+ years of full\-stack experience (React \+ Python). * Strong knowledge of REST APIs, authentication flows (OAuth2/JWT), and modern state management (Redux, etc.). * Experience with OpenAI APIs or other LLM integration (prompt engineering, embedding, etc.). * Solid understanding of SQL and ORM tools. * Familiarity with LMS systems and educational platforms is a strong plus. * Demonstrated experience in technical leadership or mentoring. * Strong communication and cross\-functional collaboration skills. * * Passion for improving education and societal impact. **Nice to Have** Experience with LMSs. * Experience with FastAPI. * Background in analytics, dashboards, or reporting tools. * Understanding of FERPA, COPPA, or other educational data regulations. * * Prior experience working on tools for district\-level education stakeholders. **What We Offer** Mission\-driven work with social impact. * Collaborative, remote\-first culture. * Competitive compensation. * * Opportunities to define architecture and influence product strategy.
