**Job Description** We are looking for a **CNC Laser Operator** for an important metallurgical company dedicated to sheet metal cutting and part fabrication. The ideal candidate should have **proven experience operating fiber or CO₂ laser equipment**, reading blueprints, and knowledge of CNC programming. **Main Responsibilities** * Operate **CNC laser cutting machines** (fiber optic or CO₂). * Prepare materials, adjust cutting parameters, and monitor the process. * Load and optimize CNC programs from CAD/CAM files. * Perform **measurement and quality control** of produced parts. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and safety in the work area. * Carry out basic preventive maintenance tasks on the machine. * Report incidents and collaborate with engineering and production departments. **Requirements** * **Education:** Completed secondary school (mechanical, electromechanical, or industrial technician). * **Experience:** Minimum of **1 year** operating CNC laser cutting, plasma, or similar machines. * **Technical Skills:** * Interpretation of mechanical drawings and tolerances. * CNC programming (G/M Code). * Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Lantek, SigmaNEST, TruTops, or others). * Material identification: stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, galvanized. * Use of measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, square, vernier gauge). * Good industrial safety practices. **Valued Competencies** * Attention to detail and precision. * Responsibility and commitment to quality. * Ability to work in a team and meet production goals. * Proactiveness in addressing technical issues and basic maintenance.
