Emi, our main product, is an A.I. recruitment assistant that enables companies to engage in a conversation with each applicant to detect interested and qualified individuals while saving Recruiters a huge amount of time by automating tasks such as screening, validating skills, scheduling interviews, and collecting documents. We were part of Y\-Combinator's Winter 2019 batch and in 2022 we have raised an $11M funding round co\-led by Merus Capital and Khosla Ventures. **About our Interview Team** An interview is the most crucial moment in a talent acquisition process. The Interview Team is responsible for smart interview scheduling and feedback reception. In a context where frontline candidate assistance to interview is very low (10% \- 50%), building tools to make effective scheduling has a great impact on both recruiters and candidates. **What you'll be doing** As a Backend Engineer, you’ll be building the orchestration of several modules which are part of scheduling the interview of a candidate. Your responsibilities will extend from designing system architecture to high\-level programming, testing, and systems integration. ### **Tasks** * Work closely with the Product team to detect and prioritize requirements. * Ensure technical feasibility of feature designs * Solve production issues keeping in mind that the candidates come first. * Build and maintain our internal microservices following best practices. * Be able to ship code to production every week. * Monitor the performance of our services and take action if necessary ### **Sample Projects** * Recurring interview creation and configuration * Automatic interview creation triggered by client vacancies * Maintain engagement when candidate is waiting for the interview day ### **What we're looking for** * 2\+ years working as a backend developer/software engineer or related roles * Proactive, passionate, and resilient mindset to create great software in an imperfect and fast\-growing environment * Ability to work and communicate with multiple stakeholders (both tech and non\-tech teams) * Backend development experience. NodeJS ideal * Experience designing / discussing technical solutions * Strong written and verbal communication skills, both in Spanish and English.
