




For our client, Raízen Argentina, we are seeking an Environmental Coordinator, who will be responsible for ensuring and controlling the proper performance of the Refinery’s environmental management systems, guaranteeing regulatory compliance and promoting continuous improvement of processes related to environmental protection. Within this framework, the candidate must manage the environmental legal compliance matrix and provide technical assistance to both operational and non-operational departments regarding effluents, emissions, waste, and environmental liabilities. Main Responsibilities Act as the technical environmental reference within the Refinery. Lead and coordinate the Environmental Analysts team. Ensure compliance with current environmental regulations and keep the Environmental Legal Matrix up to date. Provide organizational support during environmental emergencies. Receive and manage inspections by authorities and environmental audits, following up on resulting action plans. Participate in defining technical requirements for projects and change proposals from an environmental perspective. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in environmental matters. Prepare and manage the department’s budget, ensuring its proper execution. Monitor departmental goals and the operation’s environmental objectives. Prepare, analyze, and communicate environmental indicators reported to the organization. Requirements Requirements Completed university degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Postgraduate studies or specialization in environmental management will be valued. Advanced English. Proficiency in MS Office and official government platforms (TAD or others). Solid technical knowledge in: Development, implementation, and control of environmental monitoring plans (gaseous emissions, air quality, diffuse and fugitive emissions, liquid effluents, surface and groundwater, soil). Regulatory management before various agencies (Municipality, ACUMAR, Ministry of Environment, etc.). Management and follow-up of environmental licenses, sworn statements, and operating permits. Compliance with international environmental management standards and norms, including ISO 14001. Liquid effluent and gaseous emission treatment systems. Management of special and non-special waste.
