Opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities Maxana is seeking an experienced **AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) Administrator** to manage and optimize our Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and support of AVD environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance for our users. Your expertise will help streamline processes and enhance the user experience in a dynamic, cloud\-based environment. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Deploy, configure, and manage **Azure Virtual Desktop** environments, including host pools, session hosts, and application groups. * Maintain and update golden images for AVD deployments following established processes. * Monitor the performance, availability, and usage of AVD resources and take proactive measures to optimize performance and cost. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AVD including connectivity, performance, and application deployment. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to enhance IT infrastructure for ongoing improvements in the AVD space. * Develop documentation and guidelines for AVD administration processes and best practices. * Implement security measures and ensure compliance with organizational policies within the AVD environment. ### **Growth Opportunities** This position will provide opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities as we enhance our AVD capabilities and scale our services. **Requirements** * 3\+ years of experience in administering **Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)** or related cloud technologies. * Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure, including virtual networks, storage, and security best practices. * Experience with **Nerdio** for managing AVD is strongly preferred. * Proficiency with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI). * Experience in troubleshooting complex AVD\-related issues and end user support.
