





Total Number of Openings 1 Manages the tax liability of the company including the planning, accounting, filing, and reporting process; gathers information for purposes of satisfying income tax requirements at all levels of jurisdiction. Tax returns preparation/supports the filing of tax returns Tax determination on customers billing Main Activities:* Manage most complex account reconciliations. Address corrective measures that may also impact other teams. Prepare fluctuation analysis (P\&L, B/S, payments). * Analysis of accounting data and inventory gains/losses for tax reporting purposes. * Conduct research for more complicated tax questions and contacts tax authorities for clarification as needed. * Lead communication with business partners on issue/discrepancies resolutions. * Review Chevron customers’ taxability application based on tax law and business to ensure compliance * Leads, coordinates and collaborates on special projects as well as review regulations and procedures Required Qualification/Soft Skills:* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, business, finance or tax * Combination of \+ 6 years of tax accounting, finance and/or audit experience Excellent oral/written English skills * Fluent in ERP/Tax systems or tax applications. Utilizes knowledge of work group systems to assist on enhancements and development projects. Preferred qualifications in system implementation (SAP) Preferred qualifications:* US or International Direct and Indirect tax experience * Soft skills: coordination/Leadership skills * Analytical skills and critical thinking * Able to adapt processes in response to a fast\-paced environment.
